The complex chemical composition of the drug, Cervugid (Ovules), assures the healing of all inflammation on the vaginal, cervical and interior genital organs, as well as pelvic inflammation. The chemical composition of Cervugid (Ovules) covers a broad range of pathogens (microbes, parasites, chlamydiae, mycoses, mycoplasmas).

Chloramphenicol is a bacteriostatic actuating on Gram negative bacteria, Gram positive cocci, actinomycetes, spirochete, rickettsiae, mycoplasmas and chlamydiae – it is active agains anaerobic microbes (including Clostridium) and anaerobic spirochete.

Metronidazole is an anti-trichomonal, which also includes Entamoeba histolytica, anaerobic microbes (less so Clostridium) and anaerobic spirochete.

Nystatin is an antifungal polyvalent actuating on Candida, Cryptococcus neoformans, Coccidioides immitis, and others.

Hydrocortisone is a non-specific anti-inflammatory which helps reduce local congestive reactions

The excipient is a semi-synthetic fat acting as both transport for the active ingredients as well as a trophic on the cervical mucousa
